Key Responsibilities

  • •RF Hardware Development: hands-on design and development of Transmitters, Frequency Generation Units (FGU) and Receiver circuits for Land Mobile Radio (LMR) modems.
  • •Compliance & Certification: troubleshoot RF performance issues related to regulatory certification and conformance testing (ETSI, FCC, P25).
  • •Design Tools: use Cadence Allegro/OrCAD for schematic capture and PCB layout; work with ADS or CST simulations as needed.
  • •Systems Integration: manage hardware-to-software integration lifecycle; develop custom test scripts to automate device testing.
  • •Validation & Documentation: perform electrical testing, generate test reports, root-cause analysis, and document design changes and production transitions.

Key Requirements

  • •3–7 years of direct RF and communication hardware design experience
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical (RF), Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field
  • •Proficiency in Cadence (Allegro/OrCAD) for schematic capture and PCB layout
  • •Experience with simulation tools such as ADS or CST is highly preferred
  • •Strong RF design skills (Tx, Rx, FGU, VCO) and fault debugging in RF hardware environments
