Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•RF Hardware Development: hands-on design and development of Transmitters, Frequency Generation Units (FGU) and Receiver circuits for Land Mobile Radio (LMR) modems.
•Compliance & Certification: troubleshoot RF performance issues related to regulatory certification and conformance testing (ETSI, FCC, P25).
•Design Tools: use Cadence Allegro/OrCAD for schematic capture and PCB layout; work with ADS or CST simulations as needed.
•Systems Integration: manage hardware-to-software integration lifecycle; develop custom test scripts to automate device testing.
•Validation & Documentation: perform electrical testing, generate test reports, root-cause analysis, and document design changes and production transitions.

Key Requirements

•3–7 years of direct RF and communication hardware design experience
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical (RF), Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field
•Proficiency in Cadence (Allegro/OrCAD) for schematic capture and PCB layout
•Experience with simulation tools such as ADS or CST is highly preferred
•Strong RF design skills (Tx, Rx, FGU, VCO) and fault debugging in RF hardware environments
