Job Summary

Lead commissioning-focused projects for electrical building systems, preparing calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications while ensuring code compliance and industry standards. Assist with commissioning specifications and basis of design documents during design and submittal reviews, and support RFP proposal development. •Prepare deliverables including calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications for commissioning projects.
•Evaluate engineering guidelines, code compliance requirements, and industry standards for project execution.
•Assist with commissioning specifications and basis of design documents during design and submittal reviews.
•Support proposal development and RFP responses for commissioning work.
•Meet client project and financial goals by coordinating with owners, building managers, vendors, and contractors; mentor junior staff.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
•7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience with building and systems commissioning.
•Working knowledge of MEP building systems, electrical systems, testing, and electrical commissioning requirements.
•Proficiency in 480-Volt electrical systems and operating electrical testing equipment (power quality meters, circuit breaker test sets, insulation resistance meters, infrared cameras).
•Experience with witnessing and/or executing pre-functional and functional electrical testing, including knowledge of NETA and short circuit/coordination/arc flash studies.
