Job Summary

Lead the incorporation and compliance build-out of a new Argentine entity for a cross-border fintech. You’ll guide CNV and UIF registration as a PSAV/obligated entity, then serve as Oficial de Cumplimiento and Responsable de Cumplimiento Regulatorio y Control Interno. Build AML/CFT/financing-of-proliferation controls from scratch, oversee reporting and testing, manage CDD/KYC/EDD, and coordinate with Group Compliance and internal audit.

Key Responsibilities

•Support incorporation of Taptap Send Financial Services Argentina S.A., including preparation/review of application materials and liaison with regulators and external counsel.
•Lead CNV registration as a PSAV and registration as an obligated entity before the UIF, under the specified CNV/UIF resolutions.
•After designation, serve as Oficial de Cumplimiento (Titular) before the UIF and Responsable de Cumplimiento Regulatorio y Control Interno required under CNV RG 1058/2025, as the primary regulator contact.
•Build local compliance operations from scratch, establishing AML/CFT/financing-of-proliferation controls and related policies and procedures tailored to Argentina’s PSAV regime.
•Manage regulatory reporting, compliance testing/monitoring, suspicious transaction reporting, and oversee CDD/KYC/EDD including PEP/sanctions screening; collaborate with Group Compliance and internal audit.

Key Requirements

•Strong understanding of Argentina’s virtual asset regulatory framework, including Ley N° 27.739, UIF Resolución N° 49/2024, and CNV Resoluciones Generales N° 994/2024 and N° 1058/2025.
•5+ years of compliance experience in a fintech, VASP, remittance company, or other CNV/UIF-regulated entity, ideally as a registered Oficial de Cumplimiento or CNV-designated Responsable de Cumplimiento.
•Experience managing regulatory engagements, including leading entity incorporation or licensing/registration projects with the UIF and/or CNV.
•Knowledge of virtual asset and blockchain risk typologies (wallet screening, Travel Rule compliance, mixer/privacy-coin exposure) and cross-border payments.
•Experience with compliance technology tools such as on-chain analytics, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and KYC platforms; ACAMS/ICA or equivalent preferred.
