Job Summary

Design, integrate, and verify mission-critical systems across EW, IAMD, C-UAS and communications projects within a fast-paced Defence environment. Contribute to multidisciplinary engineering efforts, mature designs from concept through delivery, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet project goals while pursuing growth opportunities in Raytheon Australia’s Rapid Capability Delivery program.

Key Responsibilities

•Support systems engineering activities to help mature designs toward integrated, delivery-ready solutions under guidance from senior engineers.
•Contribute to software, hardware, and systems integration activities as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
•Assist with the preparation and conduct of design reviews, integration activities, and trials, ensuring engineering tasks are completed to required standards.
•Identify and investigate technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers as appropriate.
•Communicate progress, results and emerging issues to team members and stakeholders; apply established engineering processes and best practices.

Key Requirements

•A University Degree in Engineering.
•Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering involving requirements definition/management, analysis, design, verification and validation.
•Demonstrated ability to collaborate with numerous stakeholders.
•Initiative, motivation and desire to achieve; able to work autonomously and deliver completed work on schedule.
•Excellent written and oral communications skills; eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to Negative Vetting Level 1.
