Job Summary

Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle to deliver building materials while complying with company policies and Federal/State regulations. Inspect truck/trailer, load/unload on flatbed or boom truck, and deliver to commercial and residential job sites with a customer-focused approach. Maintain required compliance records, report accidents, and meet physical requirements for frequent heavy lifting while judging distances and following assigned deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and deliver freight undamaged in compliance with company policies and Federal/State regulations.
•Inspect the truck/trailer for defects, load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck, and unload at commercial and residential job sites.
•Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
•Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment and prioritize personal safety and the safety of others around you.
•Provide world class customer service while meeting assigned delivery areas and deadlines.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
•Minimum Class B License; Class A strongly preferred.
•Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and ability to maintain required compliance records.
•Ability to lift heavy building materials (up to 80–100 lbs.) and safely load/unload and deliver at job sites.
