Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical, electrical, brake, cooling, HVAC, and related systems using test instruments and diagnostic techniques.
  • •Road test vehicles to confirm malfunctions and proper operation.
  • •Manage parts inventory and service-truck readiness, including pre-/post-trip inspections and safety checks.
  • •Document repairs and DOT forms (including uploading photos and completing Repair Orders) and communicate with support teams for approvals and purchase orders.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (or 5 years’ experience as an alternative combination).
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform the job duties.
  • •Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
  • •Maintain a current and valid DOT medical card (or complete and pass a DOT physical if required).
  • •Be at least 21 years or older, with a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File.
