Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently conduct site inspections in the selected discipline and verify tested results.
  • •Review design information, tolerances, methods of working, and assess test procedures and recorded results for compliance.
  • •Assist with reviewing project documentation for compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice.
  • •Report issues found to senior team members clearly and accurately; liaise with contractors commissioning teams professionally.
  • •Produce high-standard documentation (including site observation reports) and keep daily diaries of site activities and decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •MEP / building services engineering qualification (BSc Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering; or equivalent HNC/HND; or ONC/OND; or trade time served with City & Guilds).
  • •Minimum 5 years job-related experience with an engineering degree (or 6 years with a college diploma; or 7 years with a college or trade certificate).
  • •Demonstrated commissioning qualifications/accreditations (e.g., Incorporated Engineer, CSA Grade 4, or commissioning certification such as BCA, ACG, or NEBB—desirable).
  • •Ability to independently conduct site inspections and verify compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice.
  • •Clear communication to report issues accurately and work professionally with contractors commissioning teams.
