Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Security Operations Center (SOC) by identifying, triaging, and remediating security detections and anomalies.
  • •Investigate security incidents from initial detection through root cause as an incident response stakeholder.
  • •Assist in evidence collection and partner with engineering teams to improve and secure systems against future attacks.
  • •Develop impactful detection capabilities targeting sophisticated attacker TTPs.
  • •Enhance endpoint and network visibility, detection, and response playbooks to protect people, missions, and assets.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, information technology, or a STEM discipline, or 2+ years of professional information security experience in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience auditing operating systems on Linux, Windows, or macOS.
  • •Experience with network and host-based collection tools.
  • •Understanding of incident response processes.
  • •Experience using SIEMs such as Elastic and/or Splunk and automating security operations with scripting language(s).
