Job Summary

Deliver engineering capital projects with a multi-discipline team, working from concept through to completion at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Coordinate Wood and client engineers, external designers, equipment vendors, and contractors across infrastructure enhancements, building upgrades, and production line modifications. Apply health and safety and quality/environmental (ISO) requirements, manage scope and interfaces, track engineering progress, and resolve issues by expediting outstanding actions and supporting reporting.

Job Function: Construction, Civil & Site Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Work with the client and a multi-discipline engineering team to deliver capital projects from concept through to completion.
•Support delivery of infrastructure enhancements and replacements, building upgrades, and production line modifications within a primary pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
•Monitor and review engineering progress with Project Services and engineering disciplines, and act as a focal point for assigned projects.
•Manage scope and interfaces between engineering disciplines and coordinate with engineering, construction, HSE, procurement, subcontracting, and project control.
•Organise, attend, and prepare reports; collate actions and expedite closure of outstanding actions with appropriate disciplines.

Key Requirements

•HND or Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
•Apply Wood and client health and safety standards across working environment and design processes, with a focus on assessing and mitigating safety issues through design.
•Work in or lead multi-discipline teams delivering work packages aligned to quality and environmental management systems qualified to ISO standards.
•Manage work scope and interfaces across engineering disciplines to deliver assigned work packages, including review of vendor documents.
•Understand project contractual and commercial requirements and demonstrate experience managing change control and plant changes.
