Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on cost-management strategies and support vendor prequalification, proposals/bids review, bid interviews, and appointment process recommendations.
  • •Develop and review project estimates, present estimates to clients, deliver value engineering recommendations, and challenge vendor costs using benchmark data.
  • •Establish and manage cost reporting schedules, review cost reports and forecasts, track project budget/spend, maintain a commercial risk register, and host periodic meetings.
  • •Manage cost control by reviewing payment applications, recommending contractor entitlements with project managers, evaluating change order requests, and supporting dispute prevention/management/resolution.
  • •Oversee invoicing and post-contract closeouts, conduct post-contract reviews to produce lessons learned, and develop procedures for project handover using required forms and software.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
  • •3-5 years of relevant cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial experience in the construction industry.
  • •Experience supporting medium to large-scale construction projects, preferably mission-critical or data center environments.
  • •RICS accredited or working toward accreditation is valued.
  • •Good knowledge of procurement strategies, value management, estimating, and value engineering, with strong communication and analytical stakeholder management skills.
