Job Summary

Install and terminate AV cabling and equipment for AVI-SPL projects, including rack fabrication, wiring, and metal layout. Lead and direct installation crews on less complex jobs by coordinating progress with the Project Manager. Interpret system schematics and construction blueprints, test point-to-point functionality, manage tools and site equipment, act as a customer liaison, and coordinate changes and communication with other trades.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform AV installation tasks including cable pulls/terminations, equipment installation, rack fabrication and wiring, and metal layout.
•Lead and direct installation crews on less complex projects while coordinating and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
•Read and interpret system schematics and architectural/construction blueprints.
•Use hand and power tools to solder/crimp connectors and test point-to-point cabling and system functionality.
•Manage tools and equipment on-site, coordinate with other trades, communicate job-site status, and direct on-site change requests to the Project Manager.

Key Requirements

•2-4 years of audiovisual installation experience.

•Basic computer knowledge and ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
•Valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record meeting AVI-SPL driving standards.
