Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and lead AWS public cloud platform services for compute, storage, serverless, and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
  • •Design and scale production-grade Kubernetes clusters (preferably Amazon EKS) and implement global cloud infrastructure.
  • •Implement cluster autoscaling and resource optimization using Karpenter and perform Kubernetes upgrades with zero-downtime migrations.
  • •Set up GitOps continuous delivery using ArgoCD and implement service mesh capabilities via Istio for traffic management.
  • •Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery readiness, monitor/troubleshoot deep-stack issues, and optimize cloud spend while enforcing security guardrails and compliance standards.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 5+ years managing large fleet Kubernetes or EKS clusters.
  • •Deep understanding of AWS cloud technologies (and experience with cloud orchestration/automation) such as Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • •Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure as code.
  • •Experience with observability tooling including Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, and CloudWatch.
  • •Certifications such as AWS Cloud Professional Architect and/or Kubernetes certified professional are a plus.
