Job Summary

Oversee daily aggregate production at the Daniels Canyon Pit and Plant, providing hands-on leadership for pit and crushing crews supporting heavy civil construction projects. Ensure production schedules and quality requirements are met by coordinating equipment operations, monitoring rates and material quality, and maintaining crushing plants, conveyors, screens, and related equipment. Lead safety and environmental compliance (MSHA/OSHA), run safety meetings and job hazard analyses, and manage reporting and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and promote safety culture and ensure compliance with company, MSHA, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
•Supervise and coordinate daily pit and crushing operations to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
•Direct crusher operators, equipment operators, mechanics, and laborers; inspect work areas and equipment for safety and operational issues.
•Monitor production rates, equipment utilization, and material quality to maximize efficiency and profitability.
•Maintain production reports and operational documentation; troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•Minimum 5 years of aggregate production, crushing, mining, quarry, or heavy civil construction experience (preferred).
•Minimum 2 years of supervisory or foreman-level experience (preferred).
•Experience operating and overseeing crushing and screening equipment.
•Strong knowledge of aggregate production processes and material specifications, including equipment maintenance coordination and preventive maintenance.
