Job Summary

Lead Environmental, Health & Safety efforts for the Monterrey Plant as part of the Continuous Improvement team. Supervise EHS and Medical departments, manage the EHS budget, and ensure legal compliance with government agencies. Own ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems as internal auditor, develop emergency and contingency plans, and drive injury prevention, health care, waste management, and continuous EHS improvement. Coordinate with Corporate EHS and support risk studies and GEMBA Walks.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise the EHS and Medical departments and manage the EHS department budget.
•Maintain legal compliance by managing procedures with government agencies and implementing operational controls for injury prevention, work-related health care, environmental protection, and pollution prevention.
•Own ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems as internal auditor and host for management audits, including corrective action follow-up.
•Develop emergency and contingency plans (including pandemic scenarios) and support Voluntary Self-Assessment Programs promoted by government agencies.
•Promote EHS compliance and continuous improvement through projects, training, waste management, risk studies, and participation in GEMBA Walks while communicating performance to senior management and corporate stakeholders.
