Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and maintain storage infrastructure across high-performance, capacity, archive, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery tiers.
  • •Architect and operate low-latency, high-throughput storage systems supporting exabyte-scale file systems for simulation, telemetry, and high-concurrency workloads.
  • •Administer storage platforms including NetApp, Pure FlashArray/FlashBlade, Vast, and HPE Alletra.
  • •Monitor and troubleshoot storage performance across the full stack (hardware, RDMA transport, and protocol layers) and resolve complex cross-protocol issues.
  • •Manage storage access, permissions, and access controls; develop automation for monitoring, capacity utilization and planning, configuration management, and alerting.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of professional IT storage engineering experience (or 5+ years in lieu of a degree) in a STEM discipline.
  • •Experience with enterprise storage platforms including NetApp, Pure Storage, Vast, and HPE Alletra.
  • •Strong understanding of storage protocols: NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, and NVMe over TCP.
  • •Knowledge of enterprise storage systems in an on-premises environment.
  • •Ability to administer and support storage systems across multiple protocols and operating systems.
