Job Summary

Build and operate scalable, self-service infrastructure for blockchain nodes and supporting systems. Own CI/CD pipeline improvements, deployment, build/release optimization, and system resilience. Implement Infrastructure as Code using Ansible and Terraform, manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes (EKS preferred), and support fault-tolerant, geographically distributed infrastructure. Collaborate with engineering and SRE teams, focusing on developer experience, reliability and performance, plus 24/7 on-call availability.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and operate fault-tolerant, geographically distributed infrastructure with replication, sharding, auto balancing and failover.
•Participate in deployments with strict availability requirements and help ensure systems meet current and future demand.
•Develop and maintain automated infrastructure management code using DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
•Work with backend engineers to improve resilience using systems and application metrics.
•Improve CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure for a fleet of blockchain nodes, including on-call support for 24/7 availability.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer operating production-grade infrastructure.
•Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated environment provisioning (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
•Strong experience with containerisation and Kubernetes, including production operations and cluster management (EKS preferred).
•Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and deployment tools such as ArgoCD.
•Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and experience implementing and operating secure systems (e.g., IAM, secrets management).
