Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop in-depth knowledge of the architecture and micro-architecture of AMD x86 processor families and performance analysis tools
  • •Set up and analyze target workloads and benchmarks for networking, security, storage, wireless, edge computing, industrial IoT, automotive, and embedded segments
  • •Characterize workload performance and develop optimized recipes to differentiate AMD-based solutions
  • •Collaborate with customers, partners and internal teams as a technical expert with deep domain expertise in use cases, system architecture, software stacks and performance optimization
  • •Engage in customer-driven architecture and performance initiatives, with strong communication and teamwork to meet commitments

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • •Strong expertise in processor micro-architecture definition and performance modeling
  • •Hands-on experience with performance analysis and Linux performance tools (e.g., perf, AMD uProf, Intel VTune)
  • •Proficiency in C and at least one scripting language (shell, Python, etc.)
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage with customers
