Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform basic CAD and BIM design tasks as directed by the engineer.
  • •Draft drawings for a particular discipline and ensure good detailing practice and work procedures.
  • •Review and monitor drawing production for quality and accuracy, ensuring drawings are issued, revised, checked, signed, and filed appropriately.
  • •Create and edit drawings and sketches in compliance with WSP’s international CAD standards and agreed schedules.
  • •Generate sections, schedules, and schematics from general arrangement drawings and convert AutoCAD drawings to DWF and PDF formats for submissions.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in CAD.
  • •Experience in a similar CAD technician role.
  • •Competence with AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and RCD/Cads RC.
  • •Ability to complete CAD tasks from engineers and coordinate with the CAD Coordinator.
  • •Successful completion of a background verification (BGV) check.
