Key Responsibilities

  • •Define the software architecture, technical roadmap, and interface strategy for the service robotics platform, including embedded software, fleet connectivity, diagnostics, observability, simulation, and lifecycle tooling.
  • •Establish architectural guardrails for scalable product development, release management, software updates, cybersecurity alignment, quality practices, documentation, and long-term maintainability.
  • •Ensure technical objectives, outcomes, milestones, feasibility considerations, resourcing, and technical risks are understood before major execution phases.
  • •Lead the dedicated software team and shape the future operating model across central software teams and external partners.
  • •Document and govern software architecture, development, validation, deployment, and support processes; partner cross-functionally on standards, tooling, reusable infrastructure, security/compliance, and integration.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant software engineering, software architecture, product development, or robotics/automation platform experience, including leading teams and delivering complex systems through a product lifecycle.
  • •Comprehensive understanding of software architecture and software systems engineering for robotics software stacks, including integration patterns, validation, release processes, and product lifecycle management.
  • •Experience with robotics software stacks including C/C++, Python, ROS2, kinematic solvers, motion planning, and simulation methodologies.
  • •In-depth knowledge of robotics controls, embedded/edge computing, cybersecurity alignment, fleet operations, diagnostics, service workflows, supplier management, and product development governance.
  • •Master’s or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
