Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate, negotiate, and manage change orders throughout the data center construction lifecycle, including mission-critical systems and infrastructure packages.
  • •Provide estimating and cost planning services across all project phases, producing final cost plans and updated estimates at key design and procurement milestones.
  • •Collaborate with design teams, trade partners, and the general contractor to develop cost estimates for building, MEP, power, cooling, and supporting infrastructure systems.
  • •Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, forecasting, cost checks, valuations, and post-contract cost variances across multiple workstreams and contracts.
  • •Prepare executive summaries, monthly cost reports, forecasts, contingency/risk assessments, commitment tracking, and coordinate value engineering workshops; support final accounts negotiation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial management in construction.
  • •RICS accreditation or progress toward chartership is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large-scale construction projects, preferably mission-critical/data center or advanced technology/infrastructure scopes.
  • •Strong knowledge of cost planning, value management/engineering, procurement strategies, and commercial risk management, with excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
