Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the development of communications strategies and delivery plans across multiple stakeholder audiences.
  • •Develop themes, core messages, and collateral for digital users, media, local communities, statutory bodies, technical groups, and elected representatives.
  • •Identify and map key stakeholders and develop engagement and consultation delivery plans, including managing stakeholder feedback and analysing survey responses.
  • •Plan and deliver physical and virtual events, ensuring attendee safety and wellbeing, handling logistics, and creating tailored materials, Q&As, and briefing materials.
  • •Liaise with internal and external clients to ensure high customer service and provide accurate, timely reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or Masters in a relevant subject (e.g., Social Science, History, Politics, Geography, Language and Literature, Law, Business) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • •Strong interest in sectors relevant to AECOM (e.g., infrastructure, transport, energy, water, residential or commercial development) and confidence engaging stakeholder groups.
  • •Great personal communication skills with cultural awareness, inclusion, and accessibility focus.
  • •Strong skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • •Strong report writing, research, numeracy, and verbal communications skills to summarise technical information and engage with a variety of people.
