Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and drive a cohesive product-led growth strategy for both MongoDB Community Edition and MongoDB Atlas, translating it into testable hypotheses, measurable outcomes, and an experimentation roadmap.
  • •Identify and validate opportunities to expand into new user segments, improve onboarding and activation, accelerate time-to-value, and strengthen product education across the developer journey.
  • •Own the growth measurement and experimentation framework across acquisition, activation, adoption, retention, expansion, and sales handoffs using product/customer insights and structured learning loops.
  • •Mentor and guide Product Managers to broaden their thinking across the customer journey and build a culture of innovation and strategic problem-solving.
  • •Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other GTM teams to shape and launch growth initiatives, align product/GTM strategy, and influence packaging, pricing, and monetization.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of Product Management experience, including 4+ years leading Product-Led Growth or adjacent self-service growth motions at SaaS, cloud, or developer-centric companies.
  • •Strong understanding of product-led growth across acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, expansion, and monetization, preferably in self-service, freemium, subscription, or consumption-based products.
  • •Background in engineering (computer science, electrical, software) plus passion for MongoDB and the developer audience.
  • •Experience mentoring and leading cross-functional teams and aligning diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.
  • •Strong research, analytical, and communication skills to define growth metrics, evaluate experiments, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
