Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems on building and production equipment using PLC controls and related systems.
  • •Perform installation and preventative maintenance to keep production and facilities equipment running safely and efficiently.
  • •Use maintenance shop machine tools (lathe, milling machine, welding equipment) to make simple tool cuts.
  • •Keep accurate maintenance records and paperwork according to established procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • •Capable of physical mobility and working from elevated platforms and ladder lifts; able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • •Must be able to work overtime as needed and have excellent attendance with a good work history.
  • •Score 74% or higher on the Mechanical Comprehension Test and demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • •Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic drawings; preferred minimum 10 years mechanical work experience; must be forklift certified.
