Sanitize and wash areas with high-pressure equipment, maintain accurate production records, and support facility/equipment upkeep while following animal welfare, environmental, safety, and biosecurity procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist Herd Technicians with routine animal care tasks to ensure animal welfare.
•Feed, water, vaccinate, and perform basic veterinary procedures, treating sick animals with required methods.
•Move animals and maintain efficient animal flows.
•Sanitize and wash multiple farm areas using high pressure equipment.
•Process piglets (inject medications, castrate, dock tails, ear notch) and maintain accurate production records and department documentation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•Previous livestock handling helpful.
•Ability to do hard physical labor.
•Strong commitment to teamwork.
•Must be able to work an average 48-hour work week, with weekend, evening, and holiday work as needed.
