Manage business development and relationship growth for companies with $0–10M in annual gross sales by advising owners with tailored financial solutions. Partner with product and retail teams using the One Bank Sales Cycle to identify client needs and drive revenue growth across loans, deposits, treasury management, and more. Lead relationship strategy reviews, coordinate client-facing activities, and use CRM for pipeline tracking while coaching Relationship Managers.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop qualified client prospects using referral sources, existing clients, and centers of influence.
•Collaborate with product partners to analyze and create tailored relationship strategies for clients and prospects.
•Retain and grow long-term, profitable lead client relationships through relationship strategy and reviews.
•Cross-sell applicable Fifth Third products and services to an existing business portfolio, aiming to be the primary/lead bank.
•Use CRM for client activity tracking and partner with portfolio managers and credit officers on credit requests, metrics, and follow-through.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
•Minimum 5 years of sales experience and at least 5 years managing business banking or commercial relationships.
•Formalized credit training or equivalent credit risk experience (underwriting experience preferred).
•Proven ability to build and grow client business while delivering a positive client experience.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with prospecting and CRM sales tools preferred; ability to travel regionally and/or locally.
