Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow safety, quality, and attendance policies; report hazards and enter near-miss data into the Global Data Center database (GDC).
  • •Maximize equipment operations and uptime across assigned production areas while maintaining quality and production rates.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment and recommend solutions; review and update processes and procedures as needed.
  • •Coordinate maintenance functions and follow up on work orders to ensure closed-loop execution.
  • •Train and develop senior and subordinate operators; support startups of new equipment and job change setup to reduce downtime.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED) and 1–2 years of technical school or college-level courses preferred.
  • •3+ years of experience in manufacturing processes in blown film operations.
  • •Prior operator or senior-operator experience in production areas such as twist tie, drawstring, or roll stock is highly desirable.
  • •Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals and specification sheets, and write simple reports and instructions in English.
  • •General computer knowledge to complete assignments on Berry University and access Berry Self Service, JDE, and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
