Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect and analyse data to support transport planning work.
  • •Help develop transport strategies and plans.
  • •Develop and apply transport models for schemes and assessments.
  • •Support scheme development and appraisal, including transport assessments and business case preparation.
  • •Assist with reports, presentations, bids, and proposals and attend meetings and workshops with clients and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Economics, Maths (or equivalent) or an MSc in Transport Planning with a 2:1 classification (or above).
  • •A Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Economics, Maths, or Transport Planning would be an advantage.
  • •Interest in Transport Planning and a willingness to work towards chartership with TPS, CIHT, or ICE.
  • •Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • •Effective communication with clients and stakeholders, able to explain technical issues and capture feedback.
