Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide career counselling to students, guiding them through exploration, goal-setting, and planning, including support with university applications and pathways after graduation.
  • •Organize and deliver career talks, fairs, and workshops to raise awareness of opportunities for students.
  • •Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international higher education systems and entry requirements.
  • •Communicate with and involve parents about student well-being and progress, while maintaining confidentiality.
  • •Collaborate with external agencies and school staff to strengthen counselling services and support safeguarding and pastoral care.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • •Certification in School Counselling and/or Career Guidance preferred.
  • •Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a school or educational setting.
  • •Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and pastoral care.
  • •UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check is a pre-requisite for all appointments.
