Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop novel control solutions for aerospace and defense applications including jet engines, missiles, autonomous vehicles, avionics, and space systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering with 2+ years of professional experience post-degree (MS with 5+ years industrial experience may be considered).
  • •Extensive experience in model-based control, including optimization-based control such as linear/nonlinear Model Predictive Control, Control Barrier Functions (CBF), multivariable control, and estimation.
  • •Experience with machine learning for control, including reinforcement learning for safety-critical systems and verification/validation of AI/ML control laws (e.g., neural-network representations).
  • •Experience with multi-agent collaborative autonomy, including multi-agent autonomous behaviors and decentralized mission planning/execution.
  • •Experience with control-oriented modeling and tools including MATLAB/Simulink and Python with PyTorch/TensorFlow.
