Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment.
  • •Diagnose and repair truck systems including electrical/brake/cooling, starters/alternators, fan clutches, engine electronics, diesel steering, engines (gas/diesel), transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to identify malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
  • •Maintain and reconcile parts inventory on the company-issued service truck; operate the vehicle with required safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document findings and complete DOT and other forms using company standards and upload Repair Orders via iOS and the TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED with 3 years’ related experience (or an equivalent combination such as 5 years in a related field).
  • •Possess and supply required hand tools for job duties.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
  • •Pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a valid DOT medical card with sufficient remaining validity).
  • •Be at least 21 years or older and have a valid driver’s license with an up-to-date Driver Qualification File.
