Job Summary

Deliver application security and performance solutions for enterprise customers in a post-sales role. Key Responsibilities

•Plan and deliver organized customer services to ensure customers realize the value of Cloudflare products and best practices.
•Gather business and technical requirements to build, migrate, and deliver solutions, producing artifacts such as solution designs (HLD/LLD), scripts/procedures, test plans, and migration/deployment plans.
•Implement customer-requested changes in the Cloudflare environment following customer change management, and guide CPE configuration and integration points.
•Troubleshoot implementation issues and collaborate with Customer Support, Engineering, and other teams to support technical escalations.
•Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation, answer technical Q&A, and help build operational assets like templates and automation scripts.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Customer Engineer, Security Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Onboarding Engineer, Consultant, Technical Support Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Systems Engineer.
•Understanding of OSI layers and protocols including TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, and HTTP.
•Deep expertise in Internet and security technologies including DDoS, Web Application Firewall, Certificates, DNS, CDN, Analytics, and Logs.
•Scripting experience such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash, with a desire to expand those skills.
•Hands-on experience with security and performance topics like firewalls, WAFs, bot management, rate limiting, (M)TLS, and HTTP/2/TLSv1.3; plus infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform (desirable).
