Lead and execute European export finance transactions focused on ECA-backed deals, working closely with HSBC Infrastructure Finance. Key Responsibilities

•Support origination and lead execution of export financing transactions for the Europe client base and support origination/execution globally.
•Lead, structure and execute corporate export finance transactions and export finance components of project finance transactions with ECA cover.
•Maintain active engagement with ECAs and key client relationships (borrowers and exporters) from an export finance perspective.
•Review and negotiate financing legal documents with internal/external counsels, export credit agencies and clients; assess due diligence including market, technical and E&S reports.
•Lead credit assessment and oversee HSBC internal approval processes for export finance transactions, and provide oversight/guidance to junior colleagues.

Key Requirements

•Strong experience in banking/corporate finance with relevant export finance experience.
•Proven track record managing the structuring and execution of export finance transactions across ECA products, especially the French ECA.
•Advanced analytical and presentational skills, including reviewing financial model outputs for credit analysis, with knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
•Expert verbal and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills; able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks under pressure.
•Proficiency in English and French (spoken and written) at business level.
