Job Summary

Support PR strategy and execution for PlayStation’s exclusive games as part of the SIE Global Communications team. Own global PR plans and tactics across media outreach, messaging, events, speaking opportunities, coverage reporting, and asset distribution. Coordinate with local PR teams and agencies worldwide, build media and influencer relationships, and develop launch materials including press releases and briefings, while advising product stakeholders and managing crisis communications as needed.

•Support and implement global PR strategy for PlayStation’s exclusive games with focus on measurable media ROI.
•Develop global PR plans and manage tactics including media outreach, messaging development, event coordination, speaking opportunities, coverage reporting, and asset distribution.
•Coordinate PR efforts globally across PlayStation’s local PR teams and agencies.
•Build and maintain relationships with credible media and influencers to secure compelling coverage, with focus on mainstream media.
•Develop written launch materials (press releases, fact sheets, messaging/Q&As, briefing materials) and offer strategic counsel, including crisis communications as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of public relations experience, ideally with consumer-facing brands or products.
•Experience managing projects and collaborating across a large global organization.
•Strong media relations experience across consumer, technology, and business press outlets.
•Ability to handle multiple projects and work effectively across a large distributed team environment.
•Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, Slack, and AI tools like ChatGPT and Copilot.
