Job Summary

Drive procurement strategy and supplier relationships for NPI projects, optimizing costs, quality, and delivery performance. You’ll report to the Sr Director of Strategic Sourcing and work in Monterrey on a hybrid schedule. Lead and coordinate sourcing across global teams, negotiate supplier cost/tooling/lead time, monitor NPI launch status, and perform risk assessments with action plans to ensure successful project outcomes and continuous supplier improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a team of Sourcing Specialists across Americas, EMEA, and India.
•Coordinate sourcing COE teams and develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery for NPI projects.
•Lead supplier cost, tooling, and lead time negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
•Monitor NPI project status and coordinate with global functions to support successful project launch.
•Complete risk assessments for NPI programs, develop mitigation action plans, and present program status and risks in leadership meetings.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience (6+ years) in supplier management and project management.
•Proficiency in presentations and data analysis.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
•Master’s degree in business administration or supply chain management (or engineering), and/or professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM).
