Job Summary

Partner with customers to build and productionize end-to-end data, AI, and application solutions on the Databricks platform. Own architecture and lead design decisions for reference implementations, custom applications, and ML/AI model integration, while scoping delivery with engagement managers. Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, project management, and customer support, embed with customer teams, and create reusable accelerators that improve adoption and influence the roadmap.

•Lead production-grade customer technical projects by designing and building reference architectures, custom applications, and data ingestion with ML/AI model integration.
•Guide strategic customers on transformational big data and AI implementations, including end-to-end design, build, and deployment in partnership with engagement managers.
•Own architecture and design decisions to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
•Collaborate with Databricks engineering, project management, and customer teams to deliver technical components of engagements and provide implementation feedback.
•Embed with customer teams, engage stakeholders from technical ICs to executives, and contribute accelerators, frameworks, and best practices to scale impact.

Salary: USD 182,000 - 250,208 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms/analytics, or software engineering.
•Comfortable writing code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
•Working knowledge of at least two cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), with expertise in one.
•Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark, including Spark runtime internals.
•Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments and working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs.
