Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly manage the OP organization including EM1s across NYC and Paris, set technical direction, and connect a distributed team.
  • •Build out management and technical leadership layers as the org grows (currently ~20 ICs).
  • •Co-own the roadmap and strategy with Product by advising where engineering investment should go next.
  • •Set and evolve operating rhythm across the group (planning cadence, on-call and incident standards, and cross-team alignment).
  • •Coach managers and senior engineers and build succession and growth plans to scale beyond you.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience managing managers across distributed teams, improving how teams operate and raise the bar.
  • •Background in distributed systems and high-throughput data infrastructure to guide domain-level architecture and build-vs-buy decisions.
  • •Familiarity with on-premises/customer-installed software, including operational tradeoffs and complex support/escalation scenarios.
  • •Ability to partner strategically with Product by shaping roadmap and strategy, not only execution.
  • •Experience with high-performance or Rust-based data pipeline systems (strong plus).
