Job Summary

Seasoned Quantity Surveyor for large-scale infrastructure projects, responsible for pre- and post-contract cost management, CESMM-based BoQs, tenders, and commercial negotiations. Will conduct land surveys, manage land information systems, and review survey data while ensuring contractual and financial closure. Experience with STP, stormwater, irrigation, and sewer networks is essential; strong MS Excel and QS software skills required.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct land and site surveys using modern surveying instruments and electronic equipment
•Manage land information systems, including data storage, analysis, and reporting
•Review survey data (distances, angles, elevations) for accuracy and completeness
•Prepare cost plans, budgets, and feasibility studies; perform quantity take-offs; develop CESMM-based BoQs; prepare tender documents and pricing schedules; evaluate bids and provide commercial recommendations
•Administer contracts (preferably FIDIC); monitor costs, forecasts, and cash flow; evaluate/ negotiate variations, claims, and payments; manage remeasurement and post-contract rates; lead commercial negotiations and handle disputes/claims; finalize final accounts and ensure contractual/financial closure

Key Requirements

•Minimum 10 years of Quantity Surveying experience
•Strong experience in infrastructure and utility projects (STP, DM, stormwater networks, irrigation, sewage and drainage connections)
•Proven experience across all QS functions (cost planning, quantity take-offs, CESMM-based BoQs, estimation and tendering, claims evaluation and negotiation, post-contract administration)
•Familiarity with CESMM standards and contracts such as FIDIC
•Proficient in QS software and advanced MS Excel; strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills
