Job Summary

Support construction, aggregate, and materials operations by fueling, lubricating, inspecting, and performing preventative maintenance on heavy equipment and fleet vehicles. Operate and maintain fuel/lube service trucks, keep accurate service and fueling records, and assist with minor repairs. In a dual role, deliver materials to job sites and handle CDL Class A driving tasks, including operating dump equipment and managing pup trailer hookups while following safety, DOT, MSHA, and OSHA requirements.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Fuel, lubricate, and perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, fleet vehicles, and plant equipment.
•Conduct inspections to identify leaks, wear, damage, and maintenance needs; report issues promptly.
•Change oils, filters, and fluids; maintain proper fuel, lubricant, coolant, and DEF levels.
•Operate and maintain fuel/lube service trucks and related equipment safely and efficiently, including maintaining accurate records.
•Safely transport and deliver materials to construction sites, plants, quarries, and other company locations while operating end dumps/belly dumps and managing pup trailer hookups as needed.

Key Requirements

•Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
•Current HazMat, Tanker, Air Brake, and Doubles/Triples endorsements preferred.
•Valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card) required and maintained.
•Ability to meet and maintain DOT driver qualification standards.
•Knowledge of preventative maintenance and heavy equipment servicing preferred, including the ability to perform basic equipment inspections and complete service documentation accurately.
