Job Summary

Join Samsung Austin Semiconductor as an Industrial Wastewater Treatment (IWT) Process Engineer responsible for monitoring and improving daily IWT plant operations, preparing work packages, coordinating upgrades with Engineering, Operations and Maintenance teams, and becoming the expert for a portion of the plant, while evaluating process requirements and contributing to safety, reliability and efficiency of wastewater treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor and improve daily operations of the IWT plants.
•Prepare work packages and execute/report work scope in a systematic, concise manner.
•Coordinate upgrades and maintenance tasks with engineering colleagues, Operations, and Maintenance teams.
•Take responsibility for a specific portion of the plant after onboarding and become the expert for that area.
•Represent risks and benefits in discussions about changes in Operations, Technology, or Projects for that plant.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 76,000 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

•B.S. in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or another engineering discipline
•2+ years of experience in an engineering environment related to water treatment

•Ability to prepare work packages and clearly document scope and reports
