Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and deliver high-quality art lessons with intellectual rigour, engagement, and creativity.
  • •Differentiate instruction and set high expectations to foster curiosity, independence, and intellectual courage.
  • •Maintain a well-resourced learning environment and implement robust formative and summative assessment to inform planning.
  • •Contribute to curriculum design, development, and refinement, including cross-curricular initiatives and co-curricular activities.
  • •Provide pastoral care and uphold safeguarding and child protection standards, including proactive communication with parents.

Key Requirements

  • •Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE or other teaching qualification that gives QTS.
  • •Minimum three years of teaching experience and familiarity with the National Curriculum of England and IGCSE/GCSE and/or A Levels.
  • •A clean criminal record check including International Child Protection Check (ICPC) where applicable, and other required checks where relevant.
  • •A proven commitment to safeguarding children and understanding of safeguarding procedures.
  • •Preferably prior teaching experience in leading independent schools.
