Key Responsibilities

  • •Optimize software contract spend and manage compliance by analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and implementing opportunities or remediating risks.
  • •Apply and advise on complex software licensing topics and produce ELPs across Microsoft and Oracle or Red Hat IT environments.
  • •Navigate Microsoft and (where applicable) Oracle/Red Hat billing, tracking, and measurement systems and tools.
  • •Provide transparency of SW contract costs and ensure fair allocation of charges to business units and service owners based on software usage.
  • •Support and improve global SAM standards and processes, monitor performance indicators, and leverage AI to reduce manual effort and identify optimization opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant proven experience managing Microsoft and Oracle or Red Hat software portfolios in an enterprise environment.
  • •Create comprehensive fully optimized ELPs from data collection through completion for Microsoft and Oracle or Red Hat.
  • •Strong understanding of license restrictions, benefits, optimization opportunities, and BYOL concepts for use within AWS/Azure Cloud.
  • •Active hands-on work with Microsoft billing, tracking, and measurement tools and processes.
  • •Proficient use of SAM tools (ideally FlexeraOne), plus advanced MS Excel skills and experience embedding AI solutions in SAM operations.
