Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a team of NPI engineers to drive Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) from evaluation to execution and deployment at plant shop level.
  • •Lead NPI activities for new programs, including part readiness/approval and manufacturing process/system readiness for changes affected by new parts.
  • •Ensure quality approvals and validations are completed prior to implementation and escalate critical issues that risk current or new programs.
  • •Coordinate ECR meetings, assess change scope, ensure effective execution of ECR for new parts trials, and maintain disciplined documentation.
  • •Coordinate vehicle assembly material cut-over and direct timely material disposition (scrap/return-to-vendor/consume/rework) while continuously improving NPI processes and timelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial/quality/manufacturing) is required; master's degree preferred.
  • •Experience in an NPI role is a must.
  • •10+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing organization (OEM) is required.
  • •Strong working knowledge of change management and manufacturing systems, including PLM (3DX/Delmia), ERP (SAP), Manufacturing Execution Systems, and Jira.
  • •Experience with product design and engineering change management; ability to coach and train people at different levels.
