Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with the Manager of Safety and Loss Prevention to lead workplace safety initiatives for a distribution center operation.
  • •Ensure OSHA compliance, including powered industrial trucks, new hire and ongoing safety training, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, chemical safety, and OSHA 300 log reporting.
  • •Assist in accident/injury investigations and root cause analysis, acting as an SME for safety and security questions.
  • •Improve site-level HSE visibility using behavior safety, safe work permits, safety observations, and near-miss processes; analyze data and develop corrective actions.
  • •Conduct Job Safety Analyses for routine and non-routine tasks, develop training materials, and coordinate with site security, contractors, and emergency response as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of occupational safety experience with knowledge of manufacturing/industrial EHS.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or Environmental Health & Safety preferred (high school diploma with 4+ years EHS experience considered).
  • •Preferred safety certifications: CSP, ASP, OHST, etc.
  • •Expertise in OSHA compliance, including powered industrial trucks, lockout/tagout, and strain/sprain prevention.
  • •Superior communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization.
