Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the assigned 12-hour injection molding shift while meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
  • •Enforce plant safety rules and union contract/policies; maintain shop-floor presence at least 90% of the time.
  • •Ensure manufacturing processes are followed, including start-up/shut-down procedures, first/last piece inspection, hourly quality checks, and use of safety devices.
  • •Manage shop-floor manufacturing operations and meet financial goals; provide accurate SAP reporting for production, scrap, and labor, and support timely shift start-up/shutdown and adherence to the production schedule.
  • •Train, develop, and motivate shop-floor personnel and support digital process strength by assisting end users, handling testing for changes/upgrades, creating incident tickets, and updating process documentation.
