Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform complete paint applications, including color matching and mixing for a quality finish.
  • •Execute minor repairs such as sanding and grinding to restore vehicle surfaces.
  • •Maintain paint preparation standards to ensure vehicles meet CarMax quality guidelines.
  • •Collaborate on problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives with your team.
  • •Follow standardized work processes, maintain equipment and tools, and comply with CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements.

  • •Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors; must use CarMax-provided respiratory protection and be clean-shaven to use a half-face respirator.
