Job Summary

Support Asia Pacific commercial, technical service, and strategic marketing teams by driving Rigids application and construction-insulation product development, as well as resolving long-haul customer production problems. Own EHS and business conduct compliance, lead Rigids development projects in collaboration with country teams, and operate/maintain equipment for Rigids applications. Apply deep polyurethane Rigids formulation, processing, and production knowledge to contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure EHS and corporate business conduct compliance with zero reportable EHS incidents and no policy/regulation breaches.
•Execute Rigids development projects, especially for construction insulation, as assigned by the Technical Manager.
•Collaborate with country commercial/technical service teams and strategic marketing to contribute to sales generation.
•Operate and maintain equipment for Rigids applications properly.
•Support sustaining existing business by resolving long-haul customer production problems.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree or higher in polymer science or another chemical-related field.
•In-depth knowledge of Rigids technologies and polyurethane industries, including PU Rigids formulation, processing, and production.
•5+ years of technical development or technical service experience in Rigids fields or polyurethane industries, preferably with multinational companies.
•Strong polyurethane Rigids application and product development skills, plus sufficient equipment operation skills for adhesive and coating applications.
•Fluent English with effective interpersonal, communication, negotiating, and influencing skills; proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.
