Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform, interpret, and report NDT inspections (UT, RT, PT, MT, ET) on manufactured or in-service components against quality standards.
  • •Visit customer sites to undertake inspection work as required, including potential overnight work.
  • •Document test results in writing in accordance with associated procedures.
  • •Maintain personnel records of NDT work undertaken to evidence experience during qualification renewal.
  • •Act as a customer point of contact for ongoing requirements and support sales with technical discussions.

Key Requirements

  • •Certification/qualification in accordance with EN4179 Level 2 (or Level 3 if available) for some or all of UT, PT, ET, RT, MT.
  • •Documented experience hours for all NDT methods held.
  • •Documented aerospace/aircraft work experience hours.
  • •Experience performing in-service/manufacturing inspection, including inspection of metallic and composite components.
  • •Driving licence class B and ability to attain UK SC (Security Check) clearance.
