Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and follow-up DOT inspections and repairs for vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical/electronic systems including brakes, cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering systems, transmissions, clutches, differentials, and related equipment.
  • •Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on the company service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Document work in compliance with company standards (including DOT forms and Repair Orders) using the company-issued iOS device and proprietary TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination including additional certification/education or 5+ years’ experience.
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary for the role.
  • •Required DOT compliance: pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a current DOT medical card with sufficient remaining validity).
  • •Must be 21+ years old and hold a valid driver’s license with ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File.
