Key Responsibilities

  • •Be a role model in safety and environmental compliance while promoting a culture of safety.
  • •Drive measurable improvements in maintenance performance for fixed plant production equipment across Teck’s operating sites.
  • •Collaborate with Maintenance Execution and Asset Management leadership to unlock site value through improved maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • •Develop measurement and assessment plans to uncover causes of maintenance value loss and enhance maintenance standards using Teck’s site operating standard.
  • •Provide coaching, mentorship, and direct support to site teams during critical improvement initiatives, outages, or transitions.
Travel: High travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 150,000 - 185,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, or a trade certificate with experience at the journeyperson level.
  • •Strong coaching and the ability to lead by influence while working alongside site teams to deliver executable improvements.
  • •15+ years of industrial plant maintenance experience, preferably in mining, smelting, oil and gas, or chemical sectors.
  • •10+ years of experience in maintenance leadership, progressing to senior maintenance leadership roles.
  • •Demonstrated success leading a large, complex maintenance organization through change to sustained higher performance.
