  • •Develop and apply advanced development geology techniques to support evaluation and development of challenging oil and gas field projects.
  • •Ensure robust geological understanding by integrating static and dynamic data to guide reservoir management, field development, and production optimization.
  • •Support prospect evaluation by validating preexisting interpretations and creating new interpretations such as structure maps, isopach maps, cross sections, and annotated bubble maps.
  • •Lead interpretation of geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and drilling data to build robust static reservoir models using well log, core, seismic, and production data.
  • •Mentor less experienced geoscientists and promote adoption of best practices, digital tools, and innovative techniques in geoscience.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree in Geoscience and at least 10 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and production roles, including development geology, static modeling, operations geology, or field development planning.
  • •Field development and reservoir management experience on a producing field for an oil and gas operator (direct preferred, indirect acceptable).
  • •Extensive experience in clastic and/or carbonate reservoirs, with exposure to mature or brownfield assets preferred.
  • •Strong grounding in development geology and knowledge of geologic operations, including logging, directional drilling, petrophysics, geophysics, and rock/core sampling and analysis.
